SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBLDG)

GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and methods as required to support and provide oversight of naval ship repairs and overhauls. Experience performing work in all areas of the nondestructive testing program such as magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, eddy current, radiography, and ultrasonic testing and inspection. Experience analyzing and interpreting technical specifications, standards, manuals, plans, regulations and preparing technical Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection procedures. Experience monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of a quality assurance program within the division and develop new procedures for technical/policy changes in order to achieve program effectiveness. Experience planning and executing various types of complex projects and develop innovative solutions to resolve complex issues/problems.
