We currently have an opening for a Director, PMO. This key leadership role in the Global QRC team is responsible for the management of the QRC global project portfolio and driving the successful execution of QRC led projects within the organization.
This role will provide project management expertise to support our global caretakers who are responsible to develop, improve and manage global processes through empowered communities of practice engaging with users and stakeholders.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: In partnership with the SVP of Global QRC Develop and implement a comprehensive project management strategy aligned with the company's quality objectives, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget.
- Project Governance: Facilitate the Quality System Steering Committee (QSSC) which consists of across functional leadership team responsible for providing governance of Getinge’s Global quality system and providing support and oversight for global projects.
- Project management toolbox: Develop and management a toolbox for the effective management of all Global QRC projects. Support the QRC process caretakers in the execution of Global Projects.
- Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources to optimize project outcomes. Provide leadership and mentorship to project management and QRC teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in project management and quality processes. Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication and Reporting: Effectively communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to executive leadership and stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external audiences.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Quality Management, or other related science discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is required).
- Minimum 10 years related experience in a medical device manufacturing environment and managing team
- Results-driven professional with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management System operations and application of the Regulations, ISO standards, and management controls.
- Proven track record of successful project management in the medical device industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional areas.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- IT skills related to operating various Microsoft and other systems
