Position Overview 

The Opta Graphics Sports Content Creator Intern will play a key role in producing and managing data-driven sports graphics, optimizing internal production accounts, and conducting research to enhance Opta Graphics' content strategy. This position is designed for a creative and analytical professional who thrives at the intersection of sports, technology, and data storytelling. 

A significant component of this role involves executing a research-backed thesis project focused on either "Best Practices" or "The Future of Tech" for Opta Graphics. This project will provide actionable insights to drive innovation in sports content production. 

Responsibilities: 

• Master Opta Graphics tools and workflows to create data-driven visual content. 

• Develop and produce sports graphics for social media, broadcasts, and in-venue use. 

• Manage and optimize internal production accounts  for client demos and workflow efficiency. 

• Conduct research and analysis of industry best practices, competitor strategies, and engagement trends. 

• Experiment with new content formats and real-time production techniques to improve engagement. 

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Business Development teams to align content creation with monetization and sponsorship opportunities. 

• Analyze and track the impact of content engagement, workflow efficiency improvements, and demo effectiveness. 

• Lead a research-backed thesis project on a strategic topic relevant to Opta Graphics, synthesizing findings into a formal presentation. 

• Present key insights and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the contract period. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Journalism, Digital Media, Sports Management, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 

• Proven ability to create engaging sports content using graphic design, social media, or video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.). 

• Strong understanding of sports data analytics, visualization, and storytelling techniques. 

• Experience managing content workflows and optimizing production processes. 

• Ability to analyze engagement metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Passion for sports and a deep understanding of digital content trends and audience engagement strategies.
