The Parts Sales Manager is a critical member of Service Sales team. Responsibilities
The responsibility of the Parts Sales Manager is to generate revenue and profit growth by supervising a team of approximately six (6) inside sales representatives and sales support team members who coordinate sales of Vestas and non-Vestas wind turbine parts to customers located within the US and Canada.
The primary goal for the Parts Sales Manager and their team is to achieve Vestas' sales targets through sales lead management, customer engagement, proposal and quote development, and selling. To be effective, the individual in this role will develop the following for the Service Sales Parts team.
Sales Management

Secure customer loyalty by delivering best-in-class sales order support and professionalism.

Develop and deliver compelling business solutions to increase Vestas share of wallet and capture value for customers in accordance with company standards.

Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales for the Service Sales parts business.

Prospect across accounts and within the industry to identify new opportunities for selling Vestas and non-Vestas wind turbine parts.
People Management

Support a remote team of part sales leaders with varying levels of experience, with emphasis on building capabilities of team members to ensure the department can scale as demand increases.

Develop sales skills and provide cross-training for all direct reports.

Determine and implement equitable sales account assignments.
Communication and Stakeholder Management

Provide guidance to sales leaders on deal structures to promote effective part sales execution.

Work with internal stakeholders in a global environment to build lasting partnerships.

Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows and product marketing development.
General Business Activities

Support Vestas safety policies and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Technical Sales, or Engineering, or equivalent experience

Three years of experience supervising two or more people

Five years of experience in commercial sales and sales operations for an OEM

Technical sales experience in the wind turbine industry, power generation or similar, preferred
Competencies

Experience working with CRM software, Salesforce preferred

Ability to achieve results via a team and as an individual contributor

Motivated, curious, and hard-working, with the desire to deliver quality results and influence strategy

Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural matrix organization
