Then you sound like a Worldpayer.</p><p></p><p><u><b>About the team</b></u></p><p>The Enterprise Architecture team operates globally as an ensemble cast that supports the business, product, and technology stakeholders throughout the merchant business. You will be part of a team of highly skilled Enterprise Architects that work to design the foundation for how our global payments platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will define how the variety of existing and emerging payment capabilities interoperate to create valuable propositions that advance the way the world pays. This is a team sport where the collective knowledge of the team and organization are harnessed to create thoughtful end-to-end solutions in collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders from across the company.</p><p></p><p><u><b>About the role</b></u></p><p>We are seeking a seasoned and visionary leader with experience within the payments industry to fill the role of Enterprise Architect. This critical position will drive the direction, development, and implementation of our Technology Strategy to ensure alignment with our business objectives and technological advancements. The ability to execute across a matrixed organization with colleagues located globally will be required.</p><p></p><p><u><b>What you'll own</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the enterprise Technology Strategy in alignment with the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.</p></li><li><p>Leadership: Provide leadership within the enterprise architecture team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Technology Roadmap: Define and maintain the technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends, evaluating new technologies, and making recommendations for adoption or enhancement.</p></li><li><p>Transformation: Experience driving large-scale Transformation Programs, specifically with cloud transformations and application modernization.</p></li><li><p>Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, reliability, and security across all IT systems and platforms.</p></li><li><p>Collaboration: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop scalable solutions.</p></li><li><p>Roadmap and Strategy: Experience taking ownership, communicating and delivering technology roadmaps and strategies that align with the objectives of the business.</p></li><li><p>Current and Future State: Understand the landscape of Worldpay and create current and future state diagrams while collaborating with the organization as required.</p></li><li><p>Architecture Repository: Enhance and maintain the architecture repository to enable artifacts to be accessible throughout Worldpay.</p></li><li><p>Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the enterprise architecture and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.</p></li><li><p>Vendor Management: Evaluate third-party vendors, products, and services, to ensure alignment with architectural standards and business requirements.</p></li><li><p>Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the enterprise architecture function, leveraging industry best practices, standards, and methodologies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>What you bring</b></u></p><p></p><p><b>Soft Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Payments Industry knowledge and experience with a solid understanding of the ecosystem</p></li><li><p>Strong technical expertise across multiple domains, including cloud computing, data management, application architecture, security - experience within Artificial Intelligence and LLMs being a plus.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stak
