Kontoor Brands’ Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. This is a 10-week, full-time paid internship. Program Overview:

• 10-week term:
• Full-time paid internship
• Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

Find Your Fit at Kontoor if you are:                                    

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
• Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
• Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
• Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
• A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Project Role: PR/ Marketing Intern - Lee

The PR/Marketing Intern will work closely with the PR/collaborations team and extended marketing team to coordinate activities in support of brand marketing as it relates to external communications, events, collaboration launches and product marketing. This hands on role will be responsible for helping with ordering products for stylist/product request, event planning, go-to-market processes for collaborations and seasonal PR planning. They will support the overall strategic goals and objectives of the Lee brand.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assisting with ordering products for stylist/ celebrity/ PR needs
• Assisting with event planning and post-event activities including placing orders, social media coverage, etc.
• Assisting in photo shoots including pre- and post- production activities as well as onsite support
• Assisting in benchmarking reporting for PR/communications internal reports
• Assisting in reviewing PR stories and needs from editors and coordinating with teams on social media/ channel marketing

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented, accurate and shows a high level of initiative
• Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills
• Have taken introductory journalism, marketing and/or communications courses
