Zscaler’s purpose-built security platform puts a company’s defenses and controls where the connections occur—the internet—so that every connection is fast and secure, no matter how or where users connect or where their applications and workloads reside.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Academy Curriculum Developer is responsible for curriculum and program design and continual enhancements in concert with Zscaler’s training for colleges and universities.</p><p>The Curriculum Developer is responsible for all deployments, faculty training and designing hands-on labs for students.</p><p><strong>Your Impact and Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build and maintain up-to-date Cybersecurity curriculum</li><li>Consistent and continual program development focusing on current and legacy cybersecurity threats, including related mitigations and solutions delivered by Zscaler. </li><li>Create new academic training tracks as needed, in alignment with Zscaler products and services.</li><li>Enhancement, maintenance and delivery of standardized curriculum, and policy governance documentation.</li><li>Perform revisions and updates aligned with product releases, program coursework, and lab updates, and re-alignment as needed within the Program tracks.</li><li>Design and enhance all courses to meet program curriculum standards, including assessments, assignments, labs, discussions, interactive learning, and discovery. </li><li>Build and maintain Course Database files including cataloging for backup and revision requirements.</li><li>Create and update comprehensive Instructor Guides for all courses.</li><li>Create and maintain assessment content, including standards and interactive learning.</li><li>Create and maintain support / help resources for faculty as well as Academy Onboarding.</li><li>Design and support LMS Course Completion Certificate automation and content.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation and interactive multimedia playbooks for Academy operations, Faculty training and support including Moodle - Student - Lab FAQs, Faculty and Staff Onboarding processes.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5-7 years of experience in curriculum development, program design and academic delivery of technology and cybersecurity industry tools. </li><li>A thorough understanding of academic institutions, faculty and student needs and operations is required in order to construct a curriculum that optimizes the experience for all three entities.</li><li>Ability to construct comprehensive and rigorous academic courses from evaluation up to 3 college credits (45 Carnegie Hours).</li><li>Ability to design and support learning assessments as quiz and exam formats.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of NIST / NICE work roles and associated KSA - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - attributes, and ability to build curriculum that directly addresses work role KSAs. </li><li>Ability to use development tools including: PowerPoint, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Photoshop and Premier, Audio and Video Sound recording and editing.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What You Can Expect from Us:</strong></p><ul><li>An environment where you will be working on cutting edge technologies and architectures</li><li>A fun, passionate and collaborative workplace</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits, including equity</li><li>The pace and excitement of working for a Silicon Valley Unicorn</li></ul><p>LI-AW2</p><p><strong>Why Zscaler?</strong><br/><br/>People who excel at Zscaler are smart, motivated and share our values.
