Join the dynamic team at VTrips, a leading vacation rental name based in beautiful Jacksonville, FL. We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to manage our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review internal documents and matches them with incoming invoices to process payments.
• Receive calls from vendors concerning issues with invoice payments.
• Update the company’s accounting system with documents, notes, payments and any other needed information.
• Assist in processing payments to vendors.
• Work as a flexible team player to achieve accounting goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties which may be assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:

Physical Demands:

• Activities: Sitting – 90%, Walking/Standing – 10%
• Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
• Vision: Prolonged, close-up work on computer screen.

Mental Demands:

• Problem-solving, interpreting, and meeting deadlines.

Environmental:

• Climate-controlled space.

Job Requirements:

• Willing to work full-time in the office.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel is required.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with accounting software preferred.
• Sales tax knowledge is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
