About the Role

Our Prototype Manufacturing team is growing and we are looking for a Manufacturing Program Planner intern to join our team.  The Planner  will work with the TPM team, supply, Quality, leads and the technicians to to ensure a timely and smooth build process, across our ever expanding autonomous programs .  

About the Work

  • Work with the Production planner to keep a the build flow efficient 
  • During builds helping to dive into the prioritization of work in Jira across a multitude of programs.
  • Work with the TPM’s  and the Production planner on the timing of upcoming projects so that there is a clear line of sight on the types of work that are coming so that the Manufacturing organization can plan well in advance.
  • Work with the supply team on maintaining the parts flow for the projects in production and adjust for inconsistencies.  This will include but not be limited to making sure the Manufacturing organization optimize material flow both from inventory and to the build lines.
  • Must be able to adapt and adjust for last minute changes and shifting priorities, quickly updating plans and making sure that those priorities are aligned cross functionally and communicated to the Manufacturing team
  • Work with the IFS team to help implement the new IFS system across the department, training, and enforcement.
  • Support process development in the manufacturing department where inputs of planning are needed.

About You 

  • Willingness to work in a fast pace ever changing environment
  • Education: On your way to a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management or other related field.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to write technical documentation. 
  • Experience in Change Control Processes
  • Experience working in ERP systems is a plus
  • Background in vehicle and component assembly or board re-works at a plus

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $8,000 and $9,000/month. Your actual base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. 

 

You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by your hire date to be eligible to start the role. Proof of vaccination will be required by your start date.
