About the role
At Meta Reality Labs, our goal is to explore, innovate and design the hardware for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. We are seeking a motivated Reliability engineering intern to join our team at Meta Reality Labs. As a Reliability Engineering intern you will be bringing Reliability data together from multiple sources to develop insight-rich dashboards.

- Source reliability data from disparate sources to create insights
- Develop dynamic and durable dashboards that are derived from evolving datasets
- Drive risk model improvements and model input refinement
- Present insights to leadership team
- Currently has or in the process of pursuing a Bachelors degree in engineering or science: reliability engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry or physics
- Experience in data science skills and basic programming: particularly in Tableau, JMP, SQL, Python / R and Google suite
- Working analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to have effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Currently has or in the process of pursuing a Masters/PhD degree in engineering or science: reliability engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry or physics
- Familiarity with reliability engineering principles
- Experience with Monte Carlo simulations, modelling tools and forecasting techniques
- Experience with advanced data science, database or ML/AI tools
- Intent to return to the degree program after the completion of the internship/co-op
