Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. VP - Regional Business Unit Leader Cockpit Technologies and Head of Sales Cross Domain Computing North America (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. The Regional Business Unit Leader for Cockpit Technologies and Head of Sales Cross Domain Computing North America is a key role in Plymouth at Robert Bosch to establish and extend customer relationships with key local stakeholders in North America. As Regional Business Unit Leader Cockpit Technologies is responsible for the product line of Infotainment, Interior Domain Computing, Displays, Sensing and Connectivity for the North America region. This includes all engineering development activities before, while and after series production including technical execution, budgeting, and cost management. Oversee all R&D and innovation activities, all program management metrics and proactively steer the organization to optimize business performance. Being able to identify customer needs in a face-to-face interaction with our customers in the U.S is key for our successful business and further development of the company to thrive in the industry in this important region. As the leader for the regional Sales Team Cross Domain Computing, one is sales responsible for the products of Cockpit Technologies, ADAS Level 2 to level 4 and Advanced Networking solutions. Responsible for all customer negotiations including acquisitions, change management and annual price negotiations as well as general terms and conditions for project specific execution. Key attributes to the role are the alignment with all Automotive Business Units within Bosch, the headquarter in Germany and having the voice of the region with the knowledge of the regional needs and the market. To enable this alignment, it is key to deeply understand the relevant market trends and technological developments to derive dedicated roadmaps in line with the customer strategies. In addition, this role is responsible to align and establish new business models, partnerships and visions for future cockpit designs and features within the infotainment business. Deliver financial targets via day-to-day operational direction and decision making. Participate as a representative of the region in the goals & performance dialog of the global Robert Bosch leadership team. Oversee necessary processes, methods, and tools as well as all planning, pricing, and budget topics. Deploy targets and competence management process for regional customer teams as well as global customers based in North America worldwide. This includes profit management, headcount planning, profit control and improvement of budget/ profitability and EBIT. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Business Administration or a related field and 9 years of professional experience as a Regional Business Leader Vehicle Cockpit Technologies, Global Sales Leader in Vehicle Electronics or other occupation/position/job title involving sales and project management roles as well as in product development and product strategy development within the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with: (1) Product Know-How in the field of Cockpit Technologies, Driver Assistance, Autonomous Driving as well as in Automotive Network products; (2) Project Management and Engineering for Electronics and Software; (3) Know-how of automotive process environment and relevant business applications supporting the business operations; (4) Definition, development, and consultation of customer strategy (e.g. product, pricing, growth, customer trends) for the relevant market and products; (5) Data driven business, strong go-to-market strategy development; (6) Partnership development within the automotive industry; and (7) Nomadic and centralized computing products, feature content related to Automated Driver Assistance and Advanced Network solutions. Remote Work May Be Permitted. 40 % international and domestic travel required.
