The Senior Research Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for supporting a successful process transfer to a second resin manufacturing site. The successful candidate will both perform chemistry lab work as well as chacterization as well coordinate activities in crossfunctional, international teams. The role also implies a good level of communication with cross functional teams and with customers

This position is part of the Manufacturing Science and Technology department located in Uppsala and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

· Supervise, plan, execute and document project work to reach given objectives

· Coordinate different activities in cross functional teams

· Be responsible for technology leadership in the assigned field including contribute in trouble shooting activities, testing of raw materials from new suppliers and analytical method development

Who you are:

· MSc or equal experience in chemical engineering or related fields.

· 5+ years experience of industrial development/R&D

· Experience from laboratory work

· Experience from method development

· Experience from project leading roles coordinating project activities

· Fluent in English and Swedish

· Ability to travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· Experience of work with synthesis and analytical lab work

· Experience of working in cross functional teams

· Delivery focus

· Ability to multitask and prioritize
