About the Team & Business Line: 
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our registered fund servicing and accounting service is one of our core focus areas for expansion and growth. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. 


As a core member of our registered fund team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. 
 

Your Role: 
•    Lead and manage a team of managers and staff, providing guidance and support
•    Execute plans to deliver accurate daily NAV calculations
•    Oversee resource allocation and workflow to meet client SLAs
•    Ensure efficient and effective daily operations
•    Oversee Net Asset Value calculations for various asset classes including private credit,
•    Review the calculation of fund specific expenses, including admin fees, management fees, carried interest and other applicable fees
•    Review accounting work, capital events, other client deliverables, investor statements and reporting prepared by staff
•    Ensure documentation is compliant with internal and external/regulatory standards
•    Ensure compliance with internal policies/procedures/best practices, external standards, and regulatory requirements
•    Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of operations
•    Liaise with Investor Relations
•    Act as a liaison with Clients on matters relating to Fund Accounting services, maintain overall client relationships
•    Ensure timely and accurate responses to client queries
•    Act as a liaison with external parties
•    Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit processes
•    Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients
•    Collaborate with Client Integration team (including new client onboarding and conversions)
•    Collaborate with Relationship Managers to develop client service level agreements
•    Onboard new employees and ensure they are fully integrated into the team
•    Evaluate team performance, providing timely feedback and conducting performance reviews
•    Identify training needs, organize professional development plans for the team and coach them to success
•    Facilitate effective communication within the department and other departments/groups
•    Forster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the department
•    Participate in technology automation, procedure development, and other special projects/initiatives
•    Implementation of efficiency initiatives in a timely manner
•    Generate ad hoc reports as required
 

About You:
•    You have a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).
•    You have 5+ years registered fund accounting experience.
•    Skilled in negotiation, business planning, margin analysis, rating agency relations and technical accounting
•    Experience utilizing industry leading accounting systems including FIS InvestOne
•    Proven experience with system and client onboarding functions
•    Highly successful record of delivering large scale business/technology reengineering initiatives
•    Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting
•    Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
•    Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
•    Excellent interpersonal abilities
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and Word), experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable
 

Salary Range: USD $110,000 – $155,000
