The LMS Analyst is responsible for assisting the Buckeye Learn Team in the administration of the learning management system (LMS). Through collaboration with various learning and development and/or training associates and other departments across the organization, the LMS Analyst is accountable for helping the LMS Lead and other team members in the successful and effective use of the LMS.
Position Summary
The LMS Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Buckeye Learn team in the effective and efficient running and use of the learning management system. Acting as first level eServices support for end users, the LMS Analyst will triage Help Desk tickets and other requests according to a pre-established priority and routing process. This individual will also assist the Buckeye Learn Team in supporting the users who serve as decentralized LMS administrators of the LMS. Collaborates with the Talent Management team, and business unit leaders to deploy learning solutions effectively and efficiently which includes assigning and maintaining required learning assignments and delivering customer reports to assist with compliance and accountability. Support the eLearning QA and maintenance process and potentially develop eLearning courses using an authoring tool. Level and scope of responsibility may vary depending on level of experience.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire:
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and phone skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Previous work in an LMS system is preferable
- Previous experience with Cornerstone and/ or ServiceNow preferred
- Previous eLearning experience is preferable; including development of courseware in Storyline, Lectora and/or Captivate
