Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ (BCA) Manufacturing and Safety Human Resources (HR) organization is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team in Renton or Everett, WA supporting the Manufacturing Operations Support and Logistics (MOS&L) and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Teams. We are open to a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior HRBPs to find the best fit for this position.

As a member of the Manufacturing and Safety Team, there is a tremendous opportunity to make a significant impact at The Boeing Company.  This is an opportunity to contribute towards supporting our teammates in delivering world class airplanes.  The position will play a key role in supporting the transformation in our production systems and the HR function’s objective to provide world-class HR service and employee experience.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions

  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership and colleagues across HR, including our Centers of Excellence (CoEs), based on trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen

  • Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Lead resource management, skills utilization, and forecasting of current and future Workforce requirements

  • Communicate with HR peers and leaders on site activities

  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources and centers of excellence (COE’s) as appropriate; influence process improvement by working with others

  • Partner with and support both union and non-union employee populations, managing labor relations and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and organizational policies

  • Coach all team member levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture-to-performance outcomes

Working Conditions:

  • This role requires a consistent presence on the floor and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing HR strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 3+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

  • 1+ years of experience working for a large employer with both union and non-union populations
