Financial Data Senior Analyst 

Position Summary:

At CVS Health you can put your skills and interests to work by joining our Market Event Adjustments group.  An individual who joins our team will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and quantifying the impact of market events on Rebate guarantees. The team’s primary goal is to ensure contractual adjustments are executed to align with market event impacts.

The Financial Data Senior Analyst will:

·       Work under the guidance of Sr. Manager or Manager for evaluating potential financial impact of market event adjustments using existing models. 

·       Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/ SAS and use market event adjustment models to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysis. 

·       Coordinate the efforts across company teams to ensure contractual adjustments are executed to align with market event impacts.

·       Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on

 financial guarantee analysis.

·       This role will be supporting the client specific analyses and discussions and provide consultative support on additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis. 

·       This individual will be responsible on interacting with external stakeholders and clients directly and can articulate the results of the analysis in a clear, concise manner and meeting the expected deadlines of requested analysis for this client. 

Education 

·       Bachelor’s degree required.  

·       Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data related fields preferred.  

Required Qualifications 

·       2 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education  

·       OR  

·       1+ years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis. 

Preferred Qualifications 

·       Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL 

·       Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required.
