About the role

Our Home is seeking an experienced Intercompany Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Intercompany Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and reconciling intercompany transactions between Our Home's subsidiaries and other related entities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Intercompany Transactions:

·       Execute and manage intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

·       Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

·       Collaborate with various departments to obtain necessary information for intercompany transactions.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis on intercompany transactions to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes related to intercompany activities.

Process Optimization:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve intercompany processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with IT teams to implement system enhancements and automation to streamline intercompany workflows.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Business Units, to ensure alignment on intercompany processes and transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with global teams to address intercompany issues and foster a collaborative working environment.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and distribute regular intercompany reports to stakeholders, summarizing key financial metrics and highlighting areas of concern or improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accurate reflection of intercompany balances.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
    • 2+years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, investment banking, consulting and/or corporate finance
    • Mastery of Excel and proven experience in building strong financial models required
    • A self-starter who excels at driving outputs in a timely manner
    • Ability to scrutinize underlying model assumptions on an ongoing basis
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
    • Experience implementing or using financial budgeting software
    • NetSuite experience preferred
    • Fully Remote
    • Ability to travel required
