People Operations Specialist

Definitive Logic is looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team.
Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
•Assist in overseeing our administrative functions and critical processes like Policy Management, Employee Onboarding/Offboarding, Employee Engagement, Data Management and more. P&C Operations is responsible for DL’s Security Program.
FSO Tasks:-Manage Security program for 300+ employees and maintaining user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.-Support management and implementation of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities including NISPOM compliance matters, ensuring/overseeing proper document control, visitor control, personnel security, DSS and compliance, clearance and suitability processing, preparation of subcontract DD Form 254's for classified contracting, visit requests, and security aspects of prime and sub-contracts.-Annual Security reviews ensuring all cleared personnel under the corporate facility have completed mandatory annual security training-Tracking requirements for cleared new hires and employees receiving clearances-Ensure all EPSQ’s are complete
•Improve DL’s employer brand and promotes a positive candidate experience•Facilitates communication between corporate functional areas to ensure exceptional employee support•Consult on business operations policy creation and improvement to empower increased productivity and operational excellence

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent coupled with 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role as a HRBP or HR Generalist  
• Experience supporting a group of employees in excess of 100 
• Experience with HRIS, ATS or HCM systems 
• Knowledge of labor laws/ employment law
• Experience resolving complex employee relations issues 
• Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity and inclusion, performance management 

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with supporting Federal Contractors 
• Experience in working in a Management Consulting/Professional Services environment, specifically in Technology Consulting 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong decision-making skills 
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information 
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Proficient in various IS/IT systems such as: BambooHR, Profinda, ADP, Unanet, Fidelity 
• Human Resources Business Professional (PCBP) certification preferred
