Core Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for BENTELER Steel/Tube North America.
• Working capital management including receivables, payables and inventories.
• Manage 13 weeks liquidity Planning
• Development of Accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate audit functions, including year-end and internal audits conducted, including ERP process reviews.
• Balancing local reporting requirements with Global standardization.
• Organizing and implementing projects while meeting timeliness requirements for financial information.
• Coordinate the Corporation’s non-personnel related insurance programs.
• Manage the treasury function and coordination with Germany on cash pooling basis.
• Accounting methodology oversight of Corporate and Plant Accounting.
• Authority to ensure compliance to Corporate/Global reporting standards.
• Representative of the Head of Finance & Controlling

 

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin or like discipline – or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Masters in Business/Accounting and/or CPA/CMA preferred.
• three(3) to five(5) years’ experience in tax, accounting, and costing areas.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Must be familiar with IFRS accounting standards. 
• SAP, Excel, Power Point, BI
• Management Skills
• Fluency in English; German desirable.
