About The Role

As the Global Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the strategy and administration of Benefits and Leave administration on a domestic and international scale. In this position, you will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence by working alongside an internal team and through outsourced vendors. This role is vital in delivering a successful employee experience by optimizing benefits, both in the short and long-term.

About You

• You have 5+ years of progressive benefits experience, with at least 2 years spent managing the benefits function in a global organization
• You have a deep knowledge of all applicable federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
• You have a comprehensive working knowledge of health, welfare, and retirement plans.
• You have a confirmed ability to scale processes in a high-growth environment
• You have excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• You pay great attention to detail, and are passionate about process improvement and building rapport to deliver best in class service
• You understand the value of the employee experience and have shown success with employee-first initiatives
• You have demonstrable experience handling confidential and sensitive information. You exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings–a critical and required element in this role
• You have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field

A Day In The Life Of Our Global Benefits Manager

• You will manage the strategic design, implementation and plan administration of Crunchyroll’s global benefits offerings
• You will take a lead role in developing and implementing plan designs and administrative policies and practices, and enhancing company benefit plans, including retirement plans, health, and welfare plans
• You will evaluate benefit trends, new products/programs and benefits-related legislation, and recommend new benefit programs and policie
• You will work with third party consultants to provide analysis and assess market competitiveness of all plans annually
• You will evaluate the company's benefit programs or processes independently; develop solutions to identified issues; and implement changes in an effective & timely manner.
• You will coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships, and compliance testing
• You will interpret benefit policies and collaborate with benefit providers to resolve employee questions and problems
• You will lead and project manage all aspects of the annual open enrollment process, including preparing employee educational and communication materials and ensuring accurate system configuration
• You will develop and deliver a comprehensive communication strategy for benefit programs, enhancing understanding of benefits offerings
• You will build and maintain employee confidence and trust by setting up processes for promptly responding to requests, developing clear communications, and protecting the confidentiality of benefits operations
