Business Operations is the glue of DE&E Technology, with a relentless focus on connecting all the pieces of the business. All the components that make up the organization – engineering, product, design, operations, support and more – come together and move the business forward with oversight, effective prioritization, and guidance. This team synthesizes information from across the business to ensure leaders are armed with all the necessary data before making strategic and financial decisions. From forecasting, funding, tracking, and reporting on projects, to ways of working, and resource management, Business Operations has visibility and input into all aspects of the team. 

 

In this Workplace Experience Specialist position, you will directly perform business unit centered space management functions for Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology. In addition, you will work on initiatives across other offices via partnerships with team members at those offices, with occasional travel possible (less than 1%). You will be a self-starter and will work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the DE&E Product & Technology Team as well as with partner organizations such as Security, Safety, Enterprise Tech, HR, and Corporate Real Estate. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication and organization skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to concurrently manage multiple workstreams and projects. 

 

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Experience. 

 

What You Will Do 

• Office / desk move planning, execution and in partnership with corporate teams such as Corporate Real Estate, Move Services, and Facilities.  May require lifting boxes or equipment up to 50lbs. 

• Assist employees with adjustments to their workstations, monitor post and arms, ergonomic sit/stand risers, keyboard trays, chair etc.  May include swapping of equipment. 

• Daily management and care of Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology spaces and team member needs as they pertain to the physical office space (i.e. conference rooms, huddle rooms, kitchens, furniture, common spaces, signage updates, overarching technologies needed within the space). 

• Inventorying, ordering, and stocking of any kitchen or office supplies as well as snack programs.
