Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for a Norwegian Language Teacher to provide customized lessons to one of our clients in Bergen, Norway.

Job Information:

Ref 179176.: Face-to-face - 1 adult 

The Student wishes for a teacher based in Bergen for a future mix of virtual and face-to-face classes.

-Availability: Tuesday to Saturday, 16h00-18h00 Norway
-Preferred start date: ASAP
-Lesson Frequency:3-4x a week
-Lesson Duration:1h
-Student’s current location/time zone: Norway
-Preferred platform: Teams
-Current target language level: Beginner
-Native and other spoken languages: English
-Student’s language needs and goals: Daily life and socializing, basic expressions, pronouncing local names
-Additional Information:
-Needs to use English as a support language
-Structured lessons

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
