Maxar is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in Westminster, Colorado. As the HRBP, you will join a team of HR professionals focused on partnering with managers and business leaders. As an HR organization, our teams’ priorities are attracting, retaining, developing, and inspiring current and future team members, championing culture and fostering an inclusive and diverse environment, creating strong partnerships across the business, and impacting the broader community. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive HR strategies that align with the Maxar vision while unlocking your leadership potential.
Responsibilities:
Build strong and trusted relationships with leaders and managers to drive business outcomes and metrics through effective people and organization strategies
Implement the HR strategy and programs within client groups
Develop partnerships across client groups and overall business to deliver value-added HR programs and services that reflect the business objectives
Ensures HR programs are provided appropriately to the business and proactively identify new value add opportunities
Maintain a culture of trust and help build high performing teams across client groups to ensure overall organizational effectiveness
Support organizational design and effectiveness efforts
Lead and facilitate people-related change management efforts
With leaders, engages in workforce planning, talent assessment, and succession planning efforts to drive business outcomes
Analyze data and translate it into actionable people strategies
Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and other departments across the business to ensure effective execution and roll-out of programs
Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field required
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including talent management, talent acquisition, compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and federal and state respective employment laws
