Distribution Center Team Lead

- Coordinate the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Organize, assign, and oversee an area of the operation to achieve volume goals.
- Utilize and learn various programs to Pick to optimize and lead the fulfillment of orders.
- Maintain, diagnose, and arrange software/hardware systems as needed.
- Oversee the arrangement of products into boxes, verification of contents, and corrections.
- Assist in the order management process, including sorting distributor orders.
- Provide training for new employees and ongoing training for current employees.
- Organize completion of cleaning assignments in the designated area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Stay current with required training on area Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in daily stretching exercises to promote a healthy and ergonomic work environment.
- Follow FDA regulations and uphold compliance standards.
- Initiate and/or participate in collaboration sessions with other team leads to adjust fulfillment strategies.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of working experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- 0-1 years of leadership experience, with the ability to adapt and lead in various operational tasks.
- Warehouse production experience preferred, demonstrating your familiarity with the operations.
- Customer experience preferred, showcasing your dedication to meeting customer needs.
- Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language effectively to communicate with team members and understand instructions.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with others to meet production quotas.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a potentially stressful production environment.
- Basic understanding and use of word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word or Outlook) to handle documentation and communication tasks.
- Upkeep of area reports
