Job Description

Position Summary

This Director role is a member of the Global Value-Added Services (VAS) and Core Client Services (CS) team, a team working with global clients to develop and deliver client value, and world class servicing. This role directly reports into the Sr. Director of Business Operations for VAS & Core CS.

The Business Operations VAS & Core CS team is accountable for: developing key business insights across the VAS & Core organization using data, metrics, and analysis, establishing business rhythms across VAS& Core to drive consistency and structure around key operational activities, and identifying processes to improve efficiency, while ensuring alignment with overall Client Services.

This role is specifically responsible for partnering with business units across Client Services, as well as Finance, HR and Product to help define, track and report on progress against Client Services’ Objectives, Key Results and Initiatives. You will need to develop an understanding of business drivers, success factors, and challenges across different teams and functions within VAS & Core Client Services. Success in this role will require that you connect dots, identify opportunities and solutions, and represent the "story" accurately and succinctly in reports and presentations.

The position requires a seasoned professional with a broad, well-rounded set of skills, a high level of energy, flexibility, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. This position can be based in the Atlanta, Austin, Miami, New York, or Ashburn Visa offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Influence across stakeholders (i.e., CS, Product, HR, Finance) to track ORKs, identify/present on business themes, and monitor the health of the CS VAS/Core business.
  • Lead weekly leadership calls with clear agendas to discuss pressing business needs, inform key stakeholders, and transform the business.
  • Manage the creation of monthly and quarterly business updates, gathering data inputs, leader verbatims, and metrics to articulate business progress/gaps.
  • Work with Finance to monitor and track budgets, hiring plans, and revenue. Uncover business insights to share with leadership team.
  • In collaboration with our Data Analyst, ensure our business leaders have data insights, dashboards, and reporting capabilities for their functional teams.
  • Establish business rhythms with VAS & Core cross-functional stakeholders to promote collaboration, share insights, and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Assist in building out materials for all-hands, leadership offsites, and other key information sharing forums.
  • Assist, lead, and track ad-hoc requests and/or special projects focused on business optimization, planning, or business readouts.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • 10 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12-15 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
  • 10+ years’ experience in business operations, program management, product management, business consulting/strategy, or client services with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in client services and knowledge of the payment industry.
  • Strong, polished executive presence and business acumen a must
