Software Engineer II

What does a successful Software Engineer do at Fiserv?

Join our innovative team as a Software Engineer and play a key role in building the world’s leading digital operations platform for restaurants. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies like Django/Python and React, while having the freedom to explore and implement the best tools for the job. What you will do:

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to bring new features to life on our platform.
• Write clean, clear, and high-quality production code that you can be proud of.
• Partner with the product and design teams to navigate the product specification, design, and feasibility process.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for both new and existing features, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Offer constructive and thoughtful feedback on your peers’ code, helping us all improve together.
• Stay curious by researching and recommending new technologies, and help us establish best practices and coding standards.
• Embrace and uphold our core mission, vision, and values as we work together to achieve our goals.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
• 2-5 years of experience writing production-level code.
• Experience in Python is required. Our current technology stack consists mostly of Django / Python and React, but we are always looking to use the tools that are most appropriate for the task at hand.
• Hands-on experience coding within a web-based framework like Django or Rails.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience working with React, with or without Redux.

Salary Range

$96,400.00 - $162,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
