Founded in 2003, GEO Solutions' team has been involved in thousands of projects throughout the Southeast, including the Bridge Street Town Center, Town Madison, Clift Farm, Village of Providence, United Launch Alliance, The Alabama School for Cyber Technology and Engineering, and the SR255/Blake Bottom Road Interchange. As a Senior Construction Materials Testing Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting on-site testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials. You will utilize a company-provided vehicle to travel to various job sites within the area. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training, as well as the possibility of obtaining future certifications in construction materials testing. Successful candidates in this role find satisfaction in spending the majority of their time outdoors, immersed in construction environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to various job sites in a company-provided vehicle
- Perform sampling and testing on construction materials, such as concrete, soils, and asphalt
- Document field activity and report the findings to clients and supervisors
- Communicate with various field personnel and colleagues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a CMT Field Technician
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- ACI Concrete Testing Technician Grade 1 certification
- ICC Soils Inspector certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ALDOT RTT certification or South Carolina Equivalent
- ALNPDES Level 1B Inspector certification or State of Georgia/Tennessee Equivalent
