Position Overview

Power Your Future with Qualus in our Human Resources department as our HR Generalist! 

The Human Resources Generalist leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards in the development of a superior workforce. This pivot role will coordinate implementation of services, policies & programs, and advise leaders and employees on HR policies and best practices. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with VP HR in developing and executing communication workflows and strategies to keep leadership and staff informed of pertinent information, operational, system or business changes
  • Maintain HR team communication email and perform initial triage for employee questions 
  • Completion of security and background requirements for employee access to client sites 
  • Perform verification of employment and maintain employee records compliance 
  • Communicate, enhance, uphold, and align company’s values, behaviors, and culture with organizational strategies. 
  • Administer new hire onboarding to include scheduling live onboarding sessions, ensuring proper provisioning and conducting live onboarding sessions as needed.  
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. 
  • Assists employees and management in areas of policy and benefits. 
  • May assist with compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; Submit e-Verify cases for authorization. 
  • Ensure compliant maintenance of employee files and Human Resources Systems records  
  • Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation; may be responsible for creating & documenting policies and the Employee Handbook 
  • May assist with offboarding activities. 
  • Assist with employee relations issues and escalate them as necessary. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations maintaining confidentiality, as requested. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years-experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Process-oriented, proactive, and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Familiarity with HR Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to objectively coach employees and first level supervisors through complex, and difficult, issues
  • The ability to research and analyze various different type of data information.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effective resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.
