About the Role

To enable Lambda’s growth, we are expanding to a larger manufacturing facility and will be heavily focused on redesigning our manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, and increase manufacturing throughput supporting our growth plan.

What You’ll Do

• Develop in-depth knowledge of technical discipline
• Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policies and strategies
• Define and control production processes, including tooling, equipment and documentation
• Validate design specifications and shop floor applications of new product, tools, or equipment
• Lead continuous improvement projects to refine performance in safety, quality, layout, flow and ensure sufficient capacity is in place to meet Lambda’s growth objectives
• Lead and manage all capex projects to ensure delivery is on time and within budget
• Launch Tulip, our manufacturing execution system (MES), and establish a process for ensuring all configurations are supported through Tulip with appropriate SOPs and Data Collection Plans
• Provide training to the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and broader Lambda teams on lean principles and execution
• Play a key role in launching Lambda’s new manufacturing facility by the end of FY23

You

• Are a new graduate or someone looking to gain experience in a new and exciting industry
• Have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
• Have experience working across compute, storage and networking
• Can navigate Linux as a system administrator with confidence
• Are passionate about lean, new technology and leading teams through continuous improvement activity
• Have positive energy, strong communication skills and are ready to jump in and help our Manufacturing team solve problems
• Are ready and excited to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Nice to Have

• Master of Science
• Demonstrated ability leading teams through lean transformation 
• Experience in the machine learning and/or deep learning technology
• Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) hardware and server integration processes (L6 through L11)
• Ability to configure L2-L3 networking
• Experience with firmware/software updates and hardware flashing
