We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Database Developer that can assist with the design and implementation of ETL and data integration components, application program interfaces, and databases to provide highly scalable back-office server components typically found in data warehouse and business intelligence frameworks.  Our associates are focused on building customer-centric applications, adapting to change, and improving efficiencies to deliver value for the business, including supporting the digital transformation of Sonepar.

 

As the Sr. Database Developer, you will do the following:

• Assist with data development underlying enterprise software.
• Develop professional enterprise caliber software products delivering real end-user value and efficiencies for Sonepar associates and positive business outcomes for Sonepar.
• Maintain and operate large scale back-office data integration frameworks.
• Lead in the design, building and maintenance of
  • SQL tables, views, and stored procedures
  • Integration components throughout the data stack and to external environments
  • Processes to optimize the aggregation of data for display in various internal productivity tools.
• Collaborate in the continuous improvement of our development methods for database applications, including metric definition, quality processes, and our general software development practices.

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SQL database technologies (preferably Microsoft SQL Server and/or Snowflake).
• Comprehensive understanding and proven capability designing and developing in SQL.
• Proven understanding and proficiency with ETL processes, and data integration practices, and techniques.
• Proven understanding and proficiency with Agile software development and maintenance methodologies.
• Strong code refactoring skills.
• Ability to take an idea from requirement to delivery.
• Working knowledge of data warehouse methodologies.
• Working knowledge of C# and .Net framework development, and REST API development and operation.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and JSON.
• BS in engineering, mathematics, or business discipline with focus on software development or management information systems or equivalent work experience

 

Compensation range:  $90K to $110K plus 15% bonus potential.
