POSITION OVERVIEW
The VP Patient Engagement and Access role leads all aspects of the Contact Center activities, including referral management, scheduling, registration, eligibility, authorizations, and collections. Drives innovation, process improvement, and operational excellence while building high-performing teams. Partners with leadership across departments to ensure service level standards, quality performance, and fiscal responsibility. Oversees strategy and execution of ambulatory access across the enterprise, identifying and addressing access barriers. Champions technology adoption to enhance patient experience and ensures optimal functionality of centralized call management systems.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Responsible for the overall strategic direction and performance of the ambulatory access functions, including innovative tools, technologies, and practices that drive digital and in person patient entry & engagement.
In collaboration with Executive Leadership and key stakeholders, develop the three-year strategic access plan.
Lead the transformative design, monitor, and maintenance of ambulatory access and check-in functions across the clinical enterprise.
Develop, recommend, and implement ambulatory access governance, including guiding principles, tactics and processes.
Leverage ambulatory access to drive strong system level growth in designated progr
