Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.</p><p></p><p>Learn about the <a href="https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Danaher Business System</a> which makes everything possible.</p><p></p><p><span>The <span><b>Country Controller Italy/ Spain</b></span> is <span>responsible for the accuracy of the reported information in entities in their jurisdiction and rely on the process teams for transaction processing and reporting.</span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span>This position reports to the Regional Controller Central EMEA and is part of the global <span>Finance/Controllership</span> Department and will be an on-site role in Budapest, Hungary.</span></p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><ul><li>Oversight over financial closing and Reporting of the Cytiva Italy and Cytiva Spain legal entities (US GAAP &amp; Statutory) and responsible for local financial controllership activities and controls (e.g. Manual Journal Review, Account reconciliations, Balance sheet reviews, Physical inventory observation)</li><li>Main points person for internal, financial and tax auditors along with provisioning of data for Tax team to ensure accurate and timely CIT &amp; VAT filings</li><li>Working closely with the Cytiva Process teams and update, communication, monitoring and administering of relevant policies and procedures.</li><li>Provide local technical accounting support on matters impacting the legal entities</li><li>Support implementation of new processes and systems</li><li>Prepare financial analyses and respond on ad hoc queries</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are</b></p><ul><li>Accounting degree and at least 7 year experience in Financial Reporting and Controlling with strong analytical skills and strong knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in MS Office and ERP financial software (Onestream, Oracle/ SAP)</li><li>Good planning and organizational skills, along with experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines, the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents and the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries from the business</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with management, public groups, peers and staff, including language skills English, Italian, Spain</li><li>Demonstrate strong and pragmatic business acumen</li></ul><p></p><p><span>Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
