About the role

Position Summary

The Technical Trainer & Curriculum Developer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the computing environment for end users within the company. This role focuses on managing and supporting the technology used by everyday employees, including hardware, software, and access to applications. The specialist ensures that employees can work efficiently on their devices and have easy access to the tools and data they need to perform their jobs effectively. The primary focus of this role is enabling and teaching people how to use tools such as OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, this role involves partnering with Microsoft to deliver high-quality training programs.

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:

  • Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for the company’s application/software technologies. This includes creating detailed training materials, conducting hands-on workshops, and offering coaching sessions to ensure employees are proficient in using OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Continuously update training content to reflect the latest features and best practices. Partner with Microsoft to leverage their expertise and resources in training delivery.
  • Hardware Management: Manage and support hardware applications for devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
  • Software Management: Ensure software and applications are available to employees in the self-service company portal.
  • Innovation: Champion the generation of ideas for tools, software, or applications that would benefit the company’s employees.
  • Incident Analysis: Analyze incident data to identify recurring issues with current technology and propose effective solutions to mitigate these problems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure the latest versions of applications are being updated and deployed efficiently.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure minimal disruption to their work.



Work Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or another related field (i.e., Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology/Development, HR Management, etc.), preferred.
• 2 years of experience delivering various training in similar or related industry or business.
• Knowledge and understanding of adult learning delivery methods and principles.
• Experience in designing, facilitating, and evaluating leadership development content.
• Ability to manage leadership development programs.
• Effective project management and organizational skills.
• Insurance Industry related experience highly desired.
