Enterprise Architect (Evergreen)

Description

Powder River Industries, LLC provides technical services across the entire system development life cycle (SDLC). As a prime, we are responsible for complete end to end system management for a customer’s mission system. This includes a data center, integrated logistics support, COOP, and disaster recovery. As a subcontractor we are providing services from: DevSecOps, software development, network administration, systems analysis, database administration, storage engineering, hardware engineering, Tier 1 – Tier 3 support in traditional data center environments (bare metal frames), cloud, and hybrid cloud. The cloud environments we are operating in today are AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle.

Role & Responsibilities:

Facilitates and participates in programs supporting architecture governance, guidelines, and strategy. Partners with business units to align their goals and ensure IT can identify maturity gaps, communicate recommendations, and deliver standardized and scalable solutions.

• Espouses the benefits of CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery) and assists product teams in implementing and maintaining those tools

• Coordinates with product and project management to provide an understanding of the technical feasibility of new roadmap items

• Identifies and corrects ineffective or missing processes or tools which may be a hindrance to project execution

• Works with Test Engineering to create comprehensive automated testing suites

• Works with Sr. Engineers to architect best-in-class solutions

• Proactively identifies risks, communicates them clearly to the team and to Dexcom stakeholders, and helps plan for success through mitigation options

• Staying abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends to serve the interests and needs of the Rimini Street Engineering Program. 

• Works with other cross functional engineering teams to validate API, content and architecture decisions

• Assists Project Manager with generating new project plans and sprint capacity planning

Requirements

1. Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q security clearance
