Intelligence Operations Specialists/Watch Officer

Description

Concept Solutions is seeking an Intelligence Operations Specialists/Watch Officer at FAA Headquarters. The Watch Officer will support the Intelligence and Threat Analysis Division Current Intelligence Threat Evaluation (CITE) Watch, which conducts intelligence analysis and threat warnings, provides stakeholders with relevant information, and serves as the FAA intelligence lead on all security threats to the National Air Space (NAS), FAA mission areas, and regulated operators and airmen. The Watch Officer will provide comprehensive support in the areas of aviation security, intelligence operations, electronic warfare analysis, and cyber threat analysis.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• When on duty serve as the FAA central POC for all aviation threats and during crisis incidents
• Facilitate exchange of information with, and responses to queries from other agencies
• Develop threat assessments related to aviation security using open source and classified reporting tools
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop security and mitigation protocols
• Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing timely reports and recommendations
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence relevant to aviation security
• Maintain awareness of global developments that may impact the aviation sector and collaborate with intelligence agencies and share information as needed
• Monitor electronic signals for potential threats from Global Positioning System/Global Navigation Satellite System disruptions that may impact aviation systems
• Support monitoring of cyber threats targeting aviation systems and transportation networks
• Deliver the following: regular derivative intelligence summary reports on aviation security, intelligence, electronic warfare, and cyber threats; and incident reports and post-incident analysis

Work Schedule

• Support a three-shift schedule of 10-hour shifts (First Shift: 0600-1600; Second Shift: 1100-2100; Third Shift: 2100-0700)
• Work a minimum of 8 days within each pay period on a compressed work schedule, approximately 80 hours per 14-day period
• Shifts will be scheduled by the Government and provided to the contractor at least 2 weeks in advance

The ideal candidate: Intelligence Operations Specialists (GS-0132 or military equivalent)

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Top Secret (TS) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in intelligence analysis operations
• Basic understanding of aviation or transportation related security threats, electronic warfare analysis and cyber threat analysis issues
