The Director, Global Insights & Analytics position will drive data driven decision making and strategic Insights – inclusive of primary and market research, competitive intelligence, secondary data analysis, and reporting – for specific assets in Teva’s broad, global biosimilars portfolio. This position will report to the Sr. Director Global Forecasting. Global Analytics and Insights is part of the team within Global Marketing, Biosimilars.
Location: This is a hybrid opportunity based in Parsippany, NJ
How you’ll spend your day
The responsibilities of the Director, Global Insights and Analytics will include the following:
- Develop and execute a global insights and analytics strategy aligned with the Biosimilar Global Portfolio business objectives.
- Translate analytics and market research insights that inform key business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimization based on data-driven insights and field research
- Design and implement data collection processes and analytical frameworks to ensure quality and accuracy of insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
- Influence and support the portfolio of Global biosimilars pipeline assets (emphasis on US region) by further developing critical strategic insights and analyses in preparation for launch and post-launch tracking
- Support strategic business planning and portfolio prioritization process and updates
- Adapt/co-create/execute secondary reporting tools to drive meaningful analysis and market research for biosimilar assets – including pre/post launch assets, life cycle management and business development opportunities
- Develop and implement primary market research for qualitative exploration and quantitative assessment of markets, products, and companies across multiple customer groups: patients, physicians, payers and advocacy groups as needed
- Effectively leverage and maximize value of prevailing learnings by integrating information from existing global primary research, secondary data, syndicated reports and public sources before initiating new research to ensure a full appreciation of the global landscape of knowledge
- Work closely with key decision makers across the US and Global commercial and medical matrix teams to ensure alignment of key stakeholders on forecast assumptions and financial valuations
Your experience and qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a market research or analytics role
- Experience in biosimilars category is highly preferred
- Broad and diverse therapeutic category experience desired
- Mastery of analytical and market research concepts and frameworks
- Knowledge of new product forecasting inputs and process are required
Business Skills:
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful senior management presentations, conference presentations, and/ or publications
- Understanding and experience utilizing various pharma secondary data resources, i.e., Clarivate, Informa, Evaluate Pharma, etc.
- Expertise in MS Office particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Extensive project management skills, including organizational and multi-tasking
