Job Title: Zone Director, Regional Sales Surgery
Job purpose
Under the direction of the Executive Director, Sales, the Zone Director, Regional Sales Surgery position is responsible for planning, managing, and directing sales operations and sales specialists within an assigned geographic territory, in order to achieve sales, revenue and profit goals within the assigned region.
Duties and responsibilities
- Works with Ultrasound Leadership to developing Sales/Marketing strategy and implements programs through regional sales staff.
- Manages multiple sales specialists within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate.
- Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales.
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
- Responsible for recruitment, training, and development of Account Executives.
- Continuously develops knowledge regarding Fujifilm products and markets.
- Submits accurate forecasts of orders.
- Keeps current on industry updates and developments, including new and upcoming competitive products.
- Encourages and maintains open line of communications between Sales and other areas of the Company, including:
- Service-regarding new installation activities and resolving product performance issues at customer sites.
- Clinical Science-regarding customer requests for new product enhancements and future product releases and content.
- Assure sales-related customer activities are performed with the highest of quality and customer satisfaction, including:
- On-site customer visits.
- On-site follow-up visits.
- Customer demonstrations.
- Works directly and regularly with each Account Executive rendering advice, coaching and development of positive work habits and strategies to help each Account Executive be successful.
- Strategic focus especially on analyzing CRM data, inventory minimization/reduction, and general compliance and enforcement with company policies.
- Manages and controls regional expenses to maximize sales effectiveness and profit contribution.
- Meets with Fujifilm Ultrasound management at least quarterly to report sales activity and strategic sales plans.
- Attends national and local industry trade shows and conventions to maintain KOL and develop new relationships while remaining current on industry trends and developments.
- Comply with all applicable S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field required.
- 5+ years sales experience in diagnostic ultrasound required.
- 2+ years management experience preferred.
- Excellent oral, written and organization skills.
