 As a Sr. Business Consultant - Affordable, you will work in conjunction with the customer’s business and technical teams to properly configure Entrata's products to meet the customer’s needs. A Consultant - Affordable will master Entrata's suite of products, focusing on our Affordable product, to effectively consult with the customer to configure the software solutions based on the processes of the end-user. This role is uniquely cross-functional to support the business needs, allowing for collaboration with departments to include Product, Support, Migrations, Sales, etc.

Responsibilities will include

• Maintain the status of an Entrata subject matter expert 
• Understand what a successful consulting experience must look like for each customer
• Drive improvements in Affordable implementations
• Provide Affordable industry expertise to support internal resources and clients
• Create strong effective working relationships interdepartmentally
• Create plans to successfully meet those goals and objectives through the consulting journey
• Consult the customer on system configuration to best meet their goals
• Gain trust from customers that the Entrata configuration will optimize their business and be able to effectively demonstrate this
• Resolve customer concerns while building their confidence in Entrata
• Inform project members on system configuration to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Deliver resources to the customer for long-term system adoption
• Provide clear handoffs to long-term customer stakeholders
• Account for the long-term success of customers on Entrata 

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with affordable program compliance and/or affordable property management experience including but not limited to: LIHTC, HUD, USDA-RD, HCD, HOME, Bond, and monitoring affordable housing compliance with policies and procedures
• Exposure to multi-family / proptech or related industry verticals
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of Entrata or PaaS consulting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• High attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualification

• Prior employment with a 3rd party compliance company (LIHTC or HUD)
• Professional certification such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), or other low-income housing compliance-related designations.
• Experience submitting vouchers through TRACs, correcting MAT files, and navigating errors.
• Experience with Entrata software or similar property management software.
