LinkedIn’s R&D Finance Team is seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Finance who is a passionate, strategic, and analytical to provide strategic finance support to our Productivity Engineering (PE) org, helping them achieve their ambitious goals. The PE org manages our growing set of AI tools and the experimentation process that shapes our internal AI strategies; powers billing platforms and other Go To Market tech; and maintains our InfoSec posture in an everchanging landscape to protect our users, customers, and product.
As a Senior Associate Strategic Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving cross-functional initiatives that blend strategy and execution. Partnering closely with finance leadership and the PE team, you will help clarify strategy and define and track success metrics related to the PE team’s initiatives, spanning software development, InfoSec, and internal productivity. You will support a cross-company process to manage the portfolio of software products that power our employee productivity, as well as provide core financial planning support and own P&L management for your partners.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinking
- Learns to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and supports strategy development with business partners.
- Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members.
Stakeholder Influence
- Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
- Synthesizes problems and communicates point of view to support decision-making on issues related to individual work in smaller group discussions.
Execution & Organization
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics- oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.
- Communicates with stakeholders to answer a wide variety of complex questions.
Performance Management
- Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts for assigned metrics.
- Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- 1+ years of experience in management consulting.

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $158,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
