With a commitment to legendary customer service, operational excellence, and global sustainability, Greif packages life’s essentials – and creates lasting value for its colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.</p><p><b>Our Vision</b></p><p>Being the best customer service company in the world.</p><p><b>Our Purpose</b></p><p>Create packaging solutions for life’s essentials.</p><p><b>Key <span>Responsibilities </span></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Complies with all local, state, federal and government accounting and financial regulations.</li><li>Finalizes, analyzes, and reports financial data.</li><li>Prepares and reviews monthly financial reports and analysis. </li><li>Daily review of accounting function.</li><li>Oversees daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Identifies potential cash flow problems and financial <span>irregularities. </span></li><li>Liaises with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget.</li><li>Enhances existing data processing systems or develops new systems.</li><li>Works closely with independent and government auditors as required.  </li><li>Prepares budget and forecast reporting.</li><li>Actively involved in annual audit preparations.</li><li>Makes recommendations in the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.</li><li>Evaluates and re-evaluates existing customers’ creditworthiness to ensure credit lines are consistent with customers product requirements and financial capabilities. Establishes new and re-evaluates existing credit limits.</li><li>Maintains a collaborative problem solving relationship with customers, the sales organization and manufacturing to ensure the prompt turnover of receivables.  </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul><p><br/><b>Education and Experience </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4-8 years of experience.
