The Senior Manager of Talent Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of talent management within an organization. This role focuses on streamlining and optimizing talent processes and systems to support efficient talent acquisition, employee onboarding, performance management, and employee data management. The Senior Manager of Talent Operations collaborates with cross-functional teams and HR leaders to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of talent-related operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent operational strategies and initiatives to support the organization's talent management goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and optimize talent acquisition processes, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to design and implement efficient onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS and other talent management systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Streamline and automate talent processes, leveraging technology and tools to increase efficiency and improve user experience.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that deliver real-time insights into recruiting trends and hiring effectiveness, enabling data-driven process improvements and strategic decision-making. 
  • Monitor and analyze talent metrics and data to identify hiring bottlenecks, optimize resource allocation, and forecast future talent needs.
  • Own and enhance the candidate nurture and community strategy, building engaging talent pipelines through a compelling employee value proposition, personalized communication, and accessible content to foster long-term relationships with potential hires. 
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and managers on talent processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT and Finance, to ensure integration and alignment of talent systems with other HR and business systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent operations, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent operations, HR operations, or a related HR leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent management processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee data management.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS and talent management systems, with the ability to manage and optimize these systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), performance management tools, and other HR technology solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
