HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 33 facilities in eight countries.

Currently we are seeking a Senior Accountant to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Calculates, posts, and reviews financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records, including monthly general ledger closing
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
• Audits contracts, orders and vouchers
• Assists with document preparation for financial statement audits
• Functions as a back-up for in-house payroll preparation
• Conducts internal meetings to collect information for use in monthly revenue recognition and accruals
• Conducts surveys of systems within operations to ascertain needs of organization
• Compiles data for use in cash flow forecasting
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries
• Analyzes financial information
• Assists in devising and implementing accounting control procedures.
• Provides accounting support for other departments.
• Prepares analyses of accounts, executive summaries, and monthly financial statements
• Other duties and projects may be assigned based on operational objectives
