POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Director will lead and manage the company's human resource function, ensuring that HR strategies align with the company’s mission of providing exceptional services. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training and development initiatives. The HR Director will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the growth and development of the workforce.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in the healthcare or ABA industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices, particularly in a healthcare or clinical services context.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize work. 
  • Demonstrates taking initiative, anticipating needs, and exercising independent/sound judgment. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties and projects will be assigned as necessary.) 

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that  support the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR practices with business needs and priorities.
  • Provide guidance and support to leadership on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational development,      and change management.

Compliance and Risk Management 

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that promote a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Safety, Risk, and Compliance to promote employee safety and health initiatives, ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards.

Talent Acquisition and Management 

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs that ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes, providing tools and guidance to ensure fair and practical evaluations.

Employee Relations and Engagement 

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee well-being, work-life balance, and job satisfaction.

Training and Development 

  • Identify and address training needs across the organization, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
