Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a team leader or supervisor and
• 3 years of warehouse operations
• Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
• Knowledge of :
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (within 30 days).
  • general supervisory concepts
  • general safety requirements
  • warehouse equipment (Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker, and Baler)
• Analytical skills
• Decision making and investigative skills
• Customer service skills
• Supervisory, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Organization, planning, and time management skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information involving all areas of the company
• Conflict resolution skills

• Ability to move and/or lift boxes weighing 25 to 50 lbs
• Ability to push carts and totes weighing 150 to 500 lbs. across carpet and concrete
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
• Ability to withstand extreme cold and hot working environments
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Willingness to work extended hours and/or holidays and travel to various Publix Corporate locations and vendor locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
• 5 years supervisory experience and
• 5 years warehouse operations experience
• 1 year working in Records Management facility or department
