Finance Data Application Owner (Solution Analyst)

The Data Integration Platform (DIP) is a key element of the value-chain of the SCOR Finance crew which hosts Finance Data and operation for all SCOR businesses (L&H, P&C and investment). It is a data integration platform based on IBM IAS technology which purpose is to centralize in a transversally consistent and secured way all the reinsurance technical information produced by the different tools involve in the chain.

This platform aggregates the results produced by the various systems, ensures a minimum level of reconciliation between them but, more than a simple data warehouse, it offers quality control services on the loading, orchestration, historization and cartography and provide the Business teams with strong reporting capabilities.

The DIP Finance Solution Analyst is accountable of the consistency of developments and makes decisions based on inputs from the right expertise within the Squad. Specifically, on five activity scopes:

• Backlog: proactively suggests improvements in the solution both from a technical (incl. security) and cost efficiency perspective
• Solution : To meet functional requirements, he/she designs and proposes solutions, validates technological specifications, oversees developments, validates that the solution answers business needs and provides functional support for the solution. 
• Business support : Thanks to his/her deep knowledge of the solution, he/she is able to endorse a role of Business Owner deputy as well as a responsibility of configuration, especially for SCOR’s SaaS solutions.

In addition we may request to the candidate to handle following activities in ¾ years.

• Performance: defines and manages service, security, performance KPIs & ensures systems availability and quality of service. with the help of the scrum master
• Architecture: is the technical warrant of consistency and integration of the solution with the IT landscape, liaise with others IT departments for tech opportunities and re-use
   

Design/Implementation/Delivery/Run…

• You guarantee the transversal solution design to ensure solution consistency.
• You identify with the support of IT experts the non-functional User Stories and make it prioritized by the PO.
• You validate the implementation and support effort in order to plan all activities in the frame of the different sprints.
• You control quality of the documentation.
• You validate and monitor the eventual upgrade approaches of technical components contributing to the platform architecture.
• You define with the support of Business experts the most appropriate functional monitoring procedure for the platform services and the corresponding KPI’s.

 

Testing…

• You control of the unitary testing done by the squad.
• You monitor the business acceptance test.
• You define and monitor with the support of the test lead the performance testing activities.

Experience:

• Starting 4/5 years of experience participating in the software development lifecycle on systems which directly support business initiatives, with architecture and integration components, in an international context
• Be client-oriented and engaged to meet challenging deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills

• Technical / Professional Knowledge - having achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise
• Project Management - significant experience/skills in Agile project management.
