Position Summary...

The Global Software Procurement Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of Software spend globally for Walmart. This role will partner with key stakeholders across the business, build strong relationships, provide expert advice and guidance, support the implementation of business solutions, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and managing various procurement processes to meet customer and business needs.

What you'll do...

What you’ll do: 

  • Category Strategy and Management: Identify savings opportunities, plan, make recommendations, and execute for moderately complex categories. 

  • Source Selection: Gather customer requirements, develop supplier scorecards, and evaluate sources of supply. 

  • Negotiation: Facilitate contractual negotiations and provide support for complex negotiations. 

  • Contract Management: Identify and understand contract components, make decisions based on contract risks, and ensure compliance with legislation or policy. 

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Review supplier details, assess capabilities, and implement strategies to improve supplier performance.
