Inventory Control Technician Lead

2nd shift – 6pm – 4:30am Sunday to Wednesday

Lead and train inventory control team responsible for cycle counting, claims, and other related account administration. Serve as a subject matter expert for systematic and physical inventory discrepancies.

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and detail oriented Inventory Control Technician Lead to oversee daily inventory operations and guide a high performing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast paced warehouse environments and takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and direct the daily activities of the inventory control team to ensure operational excellence

• Oversee inventory accuracy by validating tracking, purchasing, shipping, and system records

• Identify discrepancies, escalate concerns, and collaborate with facility leadership to drive resolution

• Manage escalated customer claims and complex inventory issues, delegating to senior technicians when appropriate

• Conduct and support product, shipping, and receiving audits to maintain compliance and quality standards

• Operate high reach forklifts, sit down forklifts, and pallet jacks to support inventory investigations, slotting adjustments, and product movement

• Champion best practices in inventory processes, documentation, and reporting

Minimum Qualifications

• Two years of inventory control and or warehouse operations experience

• Experience operating high reach forklifts, forklifts, and pallet jacks in a warehouse environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information clearly

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems

• Ability to work in temperature controlled environments ranging from minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing appropriate protective gear

• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, depending on facility requirements

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as needed
