Job Description:

As the Maintenance Site Manager for BHS Corrugated, you will be the key liaison between our maintenance team and the client, playing a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our collaborative relationship. Reporting directly to the manager, you will oversee the on-site BHS employees, ensuring the seamless maintenance of corrugated equipment. Your primary objective will be to fulfill our contractual obligations while delivering exceptional customer service through effective team management.

Responsibilities:

Site Oversight:

• Direct and manage BHS operations at the client site, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.

Management of Site Supervisor:

• Lead and support the Site Supervisor to ensure efficient site operations.

Customer and Maintenance Team Relationship Leadership:

• Cultivate and lead the relationship between the Maintenance Team and our clients. Provide mentorship to the team to ensure proactive and optimal maintenance of corrugator equipment.

Active Engagement in Corrugator Output Enhancement:

• Play a key role in improving corrugator production by analyzing challenges and implementing technical and procedural improvements across customer and BHS responsibilities.

Intensive Interaction with Customer Plant Management:

• Regularly engage with the customer’s plant management, including:
  • Participating in daily production meetings to address downtime causes.
  • Leading weekly maintenance program discussions.
  • Assisting plant management in achieving their production targets.

Cross-Functional Project Participation:

• Actively participate in cross-functional activities and projects as identified by BHS Management, which may include:
  • Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing support to other maintenance locations as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance supervision
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, PLC programming, and computer software
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform bending and twisting motions, safely lift and maneuver objects weighing at least 30 pounds, navigate and walk over equipment, ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments, at customer sites.
