Description
The Department of Anesthesia Human Resource team is looking for an HR Associate to assist with recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and HR file maintenance. This position will enhance the efforts of the human resource operations in the Department of Anesthesia.
Duties to include:
• Coordinate recruitment activities for assigned P&S, SEIU, merit, and hourly positions.
• Verify and enter certifications, licenses, and degree information into HRIS.
• Submit immigration requests and maintain records.
• Prepare and submit HR transactions assuring timeliness and accuracy of data entry.
• Fully participate in the departments reward and recognition program.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer software applications.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Prior experience in multiple HR program areas, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and classification and compensation.
• Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
• Ability to be organized, flexible and multi-task in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and HR systems.
