Sr. Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for building and maintaining PowerBI datasets, enhancing data collection procedures, and performing advanced ETL processes. Having a deep understanding of finance and accounting to support the teams with their data management, along with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive process improvements and ensure data integrity. 

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

•  Build and maintain PowerBI datasets that are automatically refreshed on a scheduled timetable, minimizing the need for manual updates.
•  Create and optimize reports and dashboards to meet the needs of the finance and accounting teams.
•  Enhance data collection procedures to ensure comprehensive data for analytical systems.
•  Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data and improve data collection methods.
•  Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to ensure accuracy for analytical analysis.
•  Conduct advanced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to prepare data for end-user consumption.
•  Develop and implement processes to synchronize master data across multiple platforms.
•  Socialize and maintain these processes across the organization to ensure consistency and accuracy.
•  Be a subject matter expert in report creation.
•  Provide support and guidance to team members in using these tools effectively.
•  Collaborate and work closely with the Enterprise Solutions team to build and maintain data collection models.
•  Ensure data models are aligned with organizational needs and reporting requirements.
•  Identify and drive data cleansing and updated processes for the finance and accounting teams.
•  Provide actionable suggestions for process improvements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
•  Acquire knowledge of finance, accounting, sales operations, and other organizational processes related to data input and collection.
•  Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial data management.
•  Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve data-related issues.
•  Network and interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization and across various departments to foster collaboration to drive organizational goals and achieve results.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
•  Minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial data management, including advanced ETL and PowerBI development or  Master’s degree with 4+ year’s experience  including coding languages ie SQL or R
•  Proficiency in PowerBI, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions. Experience with data processing and ETL tools is required.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
•  Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
